I conduct ongoing research at the Massachusetts General Hospital, with funding from NIH and institutional grants. Major research areas include:

-retrospective cohort studies on the effectiveness and tolerability of electroconvulsive therapy (ECT)

-epidemiology of rare disease hospitalizations in the United States using the national inpatient sample

-clinical features and course of catatonia
